A car or taxi is the most practical option if you want to visit several beaches, villages and attractions. Voulamandis House is close to town and the airport, but many of Chios's best places are spread around the island.

Yes. The nearest coastal options are roughly 1.5 km from the property, and Karfas is one of the practical nearby beach choices. For exploring more of Chios's coastline, a vehicle is recommended.
