Salagona Beach, situated in the southwestern part of Chios, is a hidden gem just 5 km away from Olympi village in the Mastichochoria region. With its fine pebbles and stunning turquoise waters, this beach offers a picturesque setting where you can relax and unwind. What sets Salagona Beach apart is its unique charm – the pebbles are small enough that you can walk without any worry of tripping or discomfort. Additionally, there’s a convenient little van on the beach that provides refreshments and umbrellas, a rare find in this area.

Accessing the beach is a breeze, as the road leading to it is nicely paved and easily accessible. As you pass through Mesta village, keep an eye out for a sign on your left that will guide you to Salagona Beach. For more detailed directions and tips, feel free to ask us after breakfast.
